Mechanics of induced pluripotent stem cell cysts

(P. Nassoy with TreeFrog Therapeutics)

Encapsulation of human induced pluripotent stem cells (hIPSC) inside alginate capsules qithe the appropriate niche-like environment allows the formation of lumenized three-dimensional colonies that significantly improve viabilityand expansion rates as compared with standard hPSC. We are now investigating in details tha growth, organization and mechanical properties of these stem cell cysts.
